So, no pictures from Thanksgiving. We had a really nice time. We ate, hung out, and I took a nap. BUT, we didn't get any turkey to take home. El was super bummed about that, so I went to the store and bought a turkey breast.
I had never made a turkey before, so I called up my super smart parents for advice. It turned out really yummers! I did take pictures of that, so here we gooooooooooooo...
My first turkey! I didn't have a roasting pan so I had to prop it up with rolled up foil...
The purple is Molokai Sweet Potatoes, and yes they are purple all the timeYummmmmm

Hey looks good! Did you save some from me?! That was my one bummer from this year, too... we didn't have ANY leftovers! BUMMER! I'm hoping to have the whole fam up to Sac next year so we can have something at our house where we get all the leftovers. Sneaky, huh?!
