aloha?

so, you all may know by now that aloha airlines went bankrupt and totally shut down. i should be feeling sorry for all the people who are losing their jobs, but i am selfishly feeling sorry for my self.
my mom had a flight out here on april 3 (their last flight is march 31). they are doing a thing with hawaiian airlines where if your aloha flight was april 1-3 they will let you go on standby for no charge. but...they have to have extra seats.

christie and robby were supposed to come over on april 22, so not a chance of standy. she was able to call and get her fight refunded. i searched for a new flight. we found one, but it was still a good deal, but it was over $100 more a ticket. obviously their aloha tickets were a REALLY good deal...i guess that's why they're bankrupt!
so i hope everything works out the way it's supposed to! so, if we could all pray that my mom makes it on a flight...i need my mommy!
