so there was a yummy dip someone made at a party and i got the recipe. i made it today and it was super good. I made some adjustments, so here are both and you can make it however you like it...
spinach artichoke dip
-1 cup shredded parm
-2 cups of colby jack cheese
-1 can of artichoke hearts (she didn't say how many ounces it was, and i have a big jar, so i just kept adding till i thought it looked good.
-1 cup mayo (i did 4 oz mayo and 4 oz cream cheese...i think that made it extra yummy) *update* i changed it to 4 oz of cream cheese and 4 oz of sour cream
-1/2 tsp of garlic (yeah...so not enough! i grated 4 cloves in)
-6oz spinach (i think i added about 8-10 ounces)
i mixed it with my hands and squished it between my fingers...this helps break up the cream cheese which is kinda hard to get mixed in. hollow out a bread round, fill it up with the goop, and bake for 1 hour at 350. it's goooood! you might need a little extra bread for all the dip.
**this is a double batch...it fills up 2 bread bowls! if you want less, half it all**
